Smiles are Always “IN”

Good day! I missed my neglected blog so much :)) Yay! for a new blog post haha..

Quiet Time is a regular (often daily) individual session of Christian spiritual activities, most notably prayer and/or private study of the Bible. Rick Warren points out that it has also been called “morning watch” and “appointment with God”.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior on July 6, 2006. But since then I didn’t do anything to grow spiritually, because I always have in mind that I have already accepted Christ and that’s it. Until I realized that being a Christian doesn’t end there. Being a Christian is not always as easy as you can think, It is really hard to stand up in a world that is full of sin. I started having quiet time with God when I bought my devotional book, I really love this book because i can relate to the topics there.

For the past few months, I’m having issues with insecurities and contentment, and surprisingly this is what God had said to me early this morning.

Smiles are Always “IN”

1 timothy 6:6-10

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.

But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.

Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Pouting, frowning and proud looks are never attractive.

“Your attitude reveals the quality of person you are, and fine clothing cannot hide it. The Bible says to be contented with the things you have. A thankful heart and an attitude of contentment make a person most attractive. “

Thank you God for always being there for me, I LOVE YOU PO! 🙂
